CORE Mat-Based Small Group Trainings (SGTs)

Our Small Group Training programs offer a complete Mind and Body training to gain strength, balance and core control. Our goal is to inspire you to feel invigorated and motivated by creating programs that are fun and challenging. All SGT sessions have a maximum of 8 -12 people and are 60-minutes in length unless otherwise noted.

Pilates Mat Work with Props - Experience this innovative system of Pilates based on the principles of Joseph Pilates. Utilize props to heighten body awareness, posture and grace of movement. Exercises are performed using the fit circle, tubing, foam rollers and YOU. Use this small group training program to add challenge and variety to basic core firing patterns and maximize results. 

Power Yoga -This class is power yoga with a twist of fitness. Challenge both the mental and physical aspects by combining traditional yoga for flexibility and balance with athletic movements to improve strength and conditioning for sport.

Total Body CORE - Implement the principles of Pilates using the Bender Ball, Foam Roller, Challenge Tubing and Weights to create a dynamically different workout. All movements originate from your center and challenge core stability and strength. Speed changes and intensity progressions add variety and modification. A sure fire fat burner!!

Yoga Sculpt - This class is equal parts Yoga, traditional strength and athletic cardio training. Bring your yoga mat and leave your expectations at the door.

Yoga-Pilates - Bring the Best of Both Worlds together! A fusion of the disciplines of Pilates, Yoga and Functional Fitness designed to shift your energy and improve your overall well-being. Yoga asanas will raise the body’s heat, Pilates mat will strengthen and tone, and stretches will work to move energy producing a sense of inner balance and calm. Think – the Hundred meets Sun Salutations…HOT!

CORE Equipment-Based Small Group Trainings (SGTs)

Equipment- Based SGTs are limited up to five people and each 60-minute session is a full body workout emphasizing form and proper body alignment. CORE Pilates Equipment SGTs are designed with ZenLates™ concepts and act as a supplement to Private Training. Sessions are designed to increase strength, muscle tone, flexibility, coordination, and balance with unlimited opportunity for advancement. Group equipment sessions are used in conjunction with the Studio Reformer/Tower, the MVe® Fitness Chair, and other Studio Equipment and/or props.

Each month the focus of the Equipment SGTs rotate according to the following descriptions:

Chair Fusion – Challenge core, strength and stability by working with the MVe Fitness Chair.This workout will push your fitness edge to new levels of performance.

Cardio Interval - Get your heart pumping, increase energy and burn more calories by incorportaing squats, lunges, and other cardio based drills with traditional reformer movements.

Jump Board Interval – A unique way to give your body a blast of aerobic conditioning! Traditional Pilates Reformer exercises are mixed in with jumping in the horizontal plane.

Tower Fusion – Add increased resistance and range of motion to your workout. Tower springs, bars and loops offer more exercise variety plus give a greater sense of utilizing stabilization and control.

20/20/20 - A great total body workout; Reformer, Mat and Standing Tower work are combined to challenge you balance, coordination and stamina.

Note:  Pilates Equipment SGTs are open to those who have completed the Intro Package and/or have been approved for session participation by a CORE instructor.

*All packages expire within 3 months of purchase date and are non-refundable. Failure to give a 2-hour cancellation notice will result in charge of session.

Interested in Pilates Equipment SGTs?
We require private sessions and the successful completion of our exercise checklist to be “SGT approved” in order to participate our scheduled CORE Pilates Equipment SGT. Please keep in mind that achieving “SGT Approval” requires a committed effort and inconsistent, missed or infrequent training hinders the learning process.
Everyone learns at a different pace, factors such as inactivity and injury play a large role and therefore additional private sessions may be suggested.
Ultimately the instructor makes the determination for SGT Approval.
